Queen Takes the Queen Campaign

Objective: While the Main Library location is in the process of moving, we created a campaign to highlight the remaining Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library locations by having a cutout of Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg give a tour of the locations.

Goal: 50% engagement increase, 1000 impressions, and 800 accounts reached.

Campaign Plan

    • Introduction post to reintroduce the queen cutout in the community.

    • IG carousel posts (5-6 images)

    • Branches to highlight what makes their branch unique.

    • Utilize #QueenTakestheQueen hashtag.

    • Craft detailed memo to be emailed to 19 remaining branches with photo and video guidelines.

    • Set up a Dropbox for branches to submit photos and descriptions of the photos or videos sent.

    • Scheduling each branch highlight in advance on Sprout Social at least one week before post date.

    • From there on out, a feature will be posted every Friday.

    • Hashtag research to reach goal of engagement increase by 50%, 100 impressions, and 800 accounts reached.

    • Spread awareness and highlight other branches in the community and what they have to offer.
